From the very beginning of our time here, our goal as a program was to foster an environment where there was a great sense of pride associated with being a member of the team. Our environment is special because of the character of our student-athletes. The experiences they share, the sacrifices they make, the lessons they learn, the highs and lows; their development as people from the day they arrive on campus to the day they graduate. Their commitment to building a high-performance environment has been unwavering. Observe any one of our training sessions and you will feel the passion, intensity, work ethic, relentlessness, and satisfaction—while at the same time being taken back by the love, togetherness, positivity, and selflessness. This has always been and will always be the main goal, and, if we keep striving to make the environment great, the trophy cabinet ought to start filling up too!
We have never lost sight of the significance philanthropy plays in each and every aspect of our program. So much of what we do is made possible by the generosity of the incredible alumni and friends of Chowan Women’s Soccer—we are truly grateful. Gifts on Giving Day allow us to continue competing and thriving in our conference and on a regional stage. For example, they allow us to travel comfortably in coach buses on long road trips. They also certainly go a long way toward helping keep us in the argument for the top teams in our conference.
Thank you. Go Hawks!
